If you’re shopping for a truck camper to bring on a cross-country adventure, the 2022 Westland RV Travelaire 80W and the 2022 Travel Lite Rayzr FB are likely on your radar. At Vernon Recreational Products, both RVs are popular models. However, the Westland is the better choice if you prioritize interior space, comfort and convenience.
With an overall length of 7 feet 10 inches and a width of 7 feet 10 inches, the Travelaire 80W is slightly larger than the Rayzr FB’s 7-foot 6-inch length and 7-foot 3-inch width. This extra space allows the Westland RV to squeeze in additional amenities, including a queen bed, dual bunk closets and nightstands. The Travel Lite, on the other hand, comes equipped with a smaller double bed and no nightstands. The bedroom in the Travelaire 80W also boasts walking space around both sides of the bed, which is not found in the Rayzr FB’s layout.
Another missing feature in the Travel Lite is a bathroom, which limits where you can stop overnight on your cross-country trip. With the Westland RV, you won’t have to worry about finding public facilities. You’ll have everything you need in the truck camper, including a toilet and sink.
